What I thoroughly enjoyed was the a nice size and well-equipped room with enjoyable breakfast. What was important for me - tiled bathroom and very hard working and brilliantly helpful stuff with amazing service. The location was comfy and quiet, to the local shops, and the bed comfortable.

The hotel with bright and fabulous rooms, in an extra comfy area, on the waterfront.
Beds were uncomfortable.

Friendly and helpful staff. Located in the middle of Ryde at the ferry/hovercraft pier. Good restaurant.
An ageing hotel. Room a little "musty"

Recommend it for couples looking for comfort
The staff were friendly and helpful. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, they had a great selection, and the cooked meal was perfectly executed, a real treat enough to start the day right!
It wasn't cheap, but still acceptable for the quality we received.

Clean facilities in general, great location by the sea. Good-sized and functional room with good sized bathroom and hot chocolate and a nice seaview.
Not clean bathroom.

A very pleasant, well located, place to stay when visiting Ryde. Our room was nicely decorated and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We only ate breakfast at the hotel, the hot element of which took a little time to arrive, but there was a good range of cold food (cereals, fruit etc.) to choose from whilst we were waiting. I suspect that it may be noisier in the peak season but we enjoyed a good, undisturbed night's sleep!

The place was picturesque and had efficient staff in all areas, loved the stay. I had spotless room to myself with nice view, chair with double aspect view and the bedroom.
Unfortunately Wi-Fi was very poor.

It had a lovely situation and suited me well for my work location. Free Wi fi was a bonus. The Bistro was also good and breakfast was nicely served and freshly cooked. Lovely view from my bedroom. Pleasant staff.
There was often no hot water in the evenings and there wasn't even so much as a small piece of hand soap in the bathroom. The carpets and furniture were tired in my room and it needed a face lift.

Although the room was a little shabby it was cosy and comfortable, I had everything I needed and I enjoyed my short stay very much.
The extremely loud music coming from the wedding party late into the nite. I was at the back of the hotel but could still literally feel the vibration of the music, it was most distressing and there is no need for music to be that loud to enjoy it.

Great room in a beautiful hotel right by the sea.
Wifi was free, but you have to login again and again with your email address and password. Difficult.

The location is excellent, it is very close to transportation and beautiful Ryde sandy beach. The front staff Emma was so helpful, she made our trip! Ourt room had a big size four poster bed and beautiful sea view. The bedding was also very comfortable, they have a good duvet and fresh linen. Their bar and garden are so lovely place, they have small sand play area for children which gives family to have very relaxing time. We loved their Pimms and good choice of food. Children also really like this hotel. We difinately would like to stay here for next trip to Isle of Wight. Thank you Emma!
